Upadte at last

I'm gonna be turning this into a sketchblog when I get time around a few weeks from now.

For now, I suggest you tread on to +63 and its new facelift. :)

Caution's pixels, Metal Man Project, Sasquatch, FLCL

My buddy c-a-u-t-i-o-n made a pixel drawing of me with a green octopus sucking my brains out and I love it so much:

Cheers, Cao-hsin Lee! I owe you a Leffe! Never before have I loved to see something suck my brains out with a straw. On second thought, I guess I have...

But anyway, she did other pixel people based from her friends including Miro from Messstudio and Rex Cowle of Rexbox. You could check them out here! (Miro is the guy saying "puta" while Rex is that guy with the bubble pipe.)

As for other stuff, Joe Lucchese's Metal Man project goes live:

The Metal Man Project
my submission

I submitted it earlier in dA as this photomanipped dev.

And then there's Josh Howard's Sasquatch book coming out soon under Viper Comics. It's already being printed as I type here. 256 pages packed with short stories about the sasquatch from various artists. I did 6 pages of 4-koma style gag comic called "Yeti Another Day" co-written by my buddy Andrew Gualberto.

As for other news, here's a Furi Kuri (FLCL/Fooly Cooly) fan art I just made recently.

Random Encounter Review

Random Encounter TPB gets reviewed at Library Journal!

(Scroll down at the graphic novel section under the week of November 14 and under the author named "Balce, Nicc".)

Here's some excerpts:

"Megatokyo's characters Largo, Dom, and Ed and writer and illustrator Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim would get along swimmingly with Mona, Mica, Migo, and Goggles Girl."

"This volume stands respectably on its own, but there is enough mystery to leave one eager to see what Volume 2 might bring. Without the piercing red blood of the web version, it's easily appropriate for a teen audience."

Wooo!

Another Weekend Walk

I've walked something like 9+ miles this weekend. God. I may need to go interstate again to drink with someone I know...
